Washington โ the internal revenue service today issued the 2024 optional standard mileage rates used to calculate the deductible costs of operating an automobile for business, charitable, medical or moving purposes. The 2024 standard mileage rate is 67 cents per mile, up from 65.5 cents per mile last year.
The 2024 income year rates were published on 30 may 2024. Mileage rate increases to 67 cents a mile, up 1.5 cents from 2023.
